      在天线基础理论课中的基本口径辐射单元、阵列天线的讲解中,本文作者插入临时小型讨论会,将国际学术界出现的新型电磁涡旋波(OAM波)天线介绍到课堂中,以多个开口波导所组成的一个环形阵列电磁涡旋波天线为设计实例,通过引导学生推导波导口径场分布、远场辐射表达式,使相应物理概念得以深化,且拓展了对阵列天线组阵方式的认识,其独特的螺旋形相位波前和信息传输方式,活跃了课堂学习的氛围,有效地启发了学生们深层次的思考。在此基础上,用Matlab等可视化软件,描绘电磁涡旋波天线的辐射特性,并考察由于馈电单元缺陷所引起的波束横截面上的辐射场幅度、相位波前的畸变。由于本科生天线教学内容中理论推导单调、实例少、课时紧,该临时小型研讨会在有限的教学时间内,通过简单实例提高了学生对数学推导过程的融入感,新颖的螺旋形相位波前图形丰富了学生对天线结构形式、可实现的特殊通信功能、以及天线设计创新思维的认识。
英文摘要:
      A seminar is introduced in the course of “Fundamental Antenna Theories” when lecturing the aperture radiation basis and the antenna arraying. A novel antenna, has become a hotspot in the international academia, which transmits the vortex electromagnetic waves (also abbreviated as OAM wave) is introduced in the seminar. Multiple open ended waveguides are arranged in a ring to realize an OAM antenna, facilitating the students in a deeper thinking of the related fundamental antenna physical concepts and in the extended acknowledgement of arraying techniques by guiding them to derive the equations concerning the waveguide aperture field distribution and the radiation fields. The special spiral shaped phase front and the unique information transmission mechanism has successfully excited the deep thinking and the active learning atmosphere. Furthermore, using visual software tools, the radiation characteristic is depicted and the radiation field distortion, including amplitude fluctuation and phase variation, caused by the manufacturing defects of waveguide circular array elements, is examined. The seminar contributes the students’ sense of integration in the equation derivation process in the limited amount of instruction time and compensates the monotone of mathematical treatment and the lack of case studies and class hours in the antenna theory courses.
